Cancer Care Ontario (CCO), and Public Health Ontario have released Taking Action to Prevent Chronic Disease, a report addressing chronic disease in Ontario.
According to the study, 22 evidence-informed recommendations have been developed in an effort to combat chronic disease, which accounts for 79% of all deaths in Ontario. The four most common risk factors include tobacco, alcohol, poor diet, and lack of physical activity.
