The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) is taking advantage of this month, which is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, to tell Quebecers that it is time to take action to prevent the disease. Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of death in Quebec and the third most common cancer among men and women combined. Last year, about 6,200 Quebecers were diagnosed with colorectal cancer and 2,450 died from this disease. Read more
