Dorothy Keefe, MD, MBBS, FRACP, FRCP, spoke at the opening session and also delivered a Keynote Address, at the Palliative Care in Oncology Symposium. The symposium, cosponsored by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM), the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), and MASCC, was held in Boston, Massachusetts, October 24-25, 2014.
