Comparing health systems: new OECD data looks at health indicators in 34 countries

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has released the OECD Health Data 2012 electronic database. It is the most comprehensive source of statistics and indicators for comparing health systems across 34 OECD member countries, including Canada, the United States, the European Community, Australia and Japan. It is an essential tool for health researchers and policy advisors in governments, the private sector and the academic community, to carry out comparative analyses and draw lessons from international comparisons of diverse health care systems.
