ESMO supports World Cancer Day cautioning that the era of personalised cancer medicine is not here yet

The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) supports the 2013 World Cancer Day by trying to dispel the myth that personalised medicine is already a reality for all cancer types and all cancer patients, highlighting the need for more in-depth education and wider collaborations between researchers, oncologists and patients.
