Early surgical treatment of low-grade glioma brain tumor associated with better survival than watchful waiting

In a comparison of strategies for treating low-grade gliomas (brain tumors), patients in Norway treated at a hospital that generally favored early surgical resection (removal) had better overall survival than patients treated at a hospital that favored biopsy and watchful waiting, according to a study appearing in JAMA.
